Broad Street Bully
May 31st
I guess I shouldn’t have shown Cole Slap Shot and footage of the Broad Street Bullies in their prime. Apparently three of the other infants at daycare had their onesies pulled over their heads before a toddler stopped him. At least I made him take off the foil he taped to his knuckles before he went that day…

I told Cole about having to share a bed with his Uncle Tommy. I may have gone a little overboard in my describing it like “sleeping in terror next to an angry grizzly waiting for the instant my eyes closed so that he could tear me from limb to limb and…”
Well, you get the idea. I guess I could have just said it was a snoring grizzly.

From the diary of Cole H. Powers, March 29, 2040
It was the hot summer of odd ’10 when I first found myself afraid of horses. I begged my mother to stop; to let me down. But she didn’t. It’s taken years of intense therapy, but I have gotten over my fear of horses…and dealt with my issues with my mother.
I don’t know what I would have done without dad.
